DO Concentration - Weiss

The equation by Weiss is used to convert saturation to concentration for the instruments using Oxyguard, Aanderaa, and Rinko sensors. The equation reads:

$ O_L (\frac{ml}{l}) = \frac{\%Sat}{100} \cdot e^{( A_1 + \frac{A_2 \cdot 100}{T} + A_3 \cdot T_S \cdot \ln( \frac{T}{100}) + A_4 \cdot \frac{T}{100} + S \cdot (B_1 + B_2 \cdot \frac{T}{100} + B_3 \cdot (\frac{T}{100})^2))} \hspace{1cm} [1] $

Where:

Al = -173.4292
A2 = 249.6339
A3 = 143.3483
A4 = - 21.8492
B1 = - 0.033096
B2 =   0.014259
B3 = - 0.001700

S = salinity in g/kg

T = temperature  degrees K

Temperature in degrees kelvin is calculated using equation [2] $ T (K) = (T + 273.15) \hspace{1cm} [2] $
