fw107 - 1.061

Release date:  5th May 2023

Notes

Attention: If your instrument currently has firmware version 1.059 or earlier, you are strongly advised to proceed with this upgrade.  It improves power consumption in all modes of operation.

  • Requires Ruskin 2.20.0 or later.  We recommend an update to the latest Ruskin 2.20.4.

RBRsolo and RBRduet instruments only:
Due to component obsolescence, we were forced to change a memory chip. This resulted in increased power consumption that was not accurately reflected in Ruskin.  Some users, particularly running at 1Hz or 2Hz, may have had deployments that stopped far earlier than Ruskin estimated. This release of firmware performs several aggressive power optimizations to improve the situation, and coupled with Ruskin 2.20.4, the deployment autonomy estimates are now in line again.  Our apologies for the frustration this will have caused.
