Arguments

Input

 -Required-

  • RSK

 -Optional-

  • alpha: 0.0191 deg C-1 (default).

Output

  • RSK

This function computes the specific conductivity in µS/cm at 25 degrees Celsius given the conductivity in mS/cm and temperature in degrees Celsius.

The calculation uses the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and WasteWater (eds. Clesceri et. al.), 20th edition, 1998. The default temperature sensitivity coefficient, alpha, is 0.0191 deg C-1. Considering that the coefficient can range depending on the ionic composition of the water. The coefficient is made customizable.
